Community-Led Solutions

We work closely with local organisations to equip community leaders to deliver financial education for families and the whole community. Our accessible and relevant resources increase the reach and impact of financial education in the wider community.

The current cost of living crisis is a concern for us all. Rising food and energy costs mean we are all having to watch what we spend more carefully.

The Money Help Hub includes a series of short guides and give practical ideas for cutting costs, getting support and keeping track of your spending. If money problems are affecting your mental health or family relationships, we’ve got tips for looking after your wellbeing and having conversations about money.

The Money Help Hub Toolkit is for community leaders who want to support individuals or groups. The flexible session formats build on the content in the Money Help Hub guides, including interactive activities and suggestions for signposting. We’ve also created a simple guide to having conversations about money.

Our response during the Covid pandemic

When Covid forced people into lockdown, the financial impact on our communities was immense. We responded quickly and effectively to support local people with practical information and support.

Covid Cash Recovery gave community leaders and volunteers a vast array of vital information, resources and support to enable them to more effectively support people with money worries. The course covered general entitlements, Universal Credit, budgeting, government and charitable grants, help available for bills, money strategies for making it through difficult periods and much more.
