Meet the Just Finance Foundation’s expert financial education team and discover more about what we do.

Sarah Wallace

Sarah is our Director, with overall responsibility for all aspects of the charity’s operations, and is based in our London office. After starting her career in HR and recruitment in the private sector, Sarah has spent the last 15 years working for social action charities, including at The Royal British Legion, leading a broad portfolio of national services including Benefits, Money and Debt Advice services and the Moneyforce website aimed at promoting financial capability to younger service personnel. She has also run employability services, domiciliary care services and projects for young carers and has served on the boards of a youth education charity and a local Healthwatch.

Laura Halloran

Laura is our Head of Financial Education with responsibility for the delivery of the Lifesavers Programme as well as Milo’s Money and Covid Cash Recovery. She is a member of the design and development team for several JFF initiatives, including Milo’s Money - alongside of Danielle Hunt and Paul Street - and Covid Cash Recovery. Laura trained and worked as a secondary school teacher before managing schools based programmes for a series of education nonprofits in the UK, including City Year UK and the English-Speaking Union. She loves working alongside of teams to deliver practical programmes that inspire long term improvements in schools and in the lives of young people.

Hayley Coyne

Hayley is a Financial Education Delivery Team Lead has spent over a decade involved in a Global Schools Programme with a specific focus on international collaboration between schools in the UK and South Asia. More recently, Hayley has project managed an international schools project co-funded by the Organising Committee for the Commonwealth Games. Outside of work, Hayley has a passion for creating and crafting and regularly attends artisan makers markets.

Danielle Hunt

Danielle is a Financial Education Delivery Coordinator and is part of the team responsible for developing Milo’s Money. Danielle provides support for LifeSavers schools in the south and London areas whilst remotely supporting schools across the country where needed. Before working at LifeSavers, Danielle was a secondary science teacher, environmental education tutor and outdoor instructor (amongst other things). Danielle loves sharing knowledge with others and in turn learning new things.

Emma Mahon

Emma is a Financial Education Delivery Coordinator and has worked as a primary school teacher and middle leader in London for the past decade. Emma provides face-to-face support for Lifesavers schools in the London and South-East area while also providing support to schools across the country. She has a passion for equipping children with the skills they will need in the future and uses her previous experience as a PSHE and Maths coordinator to help inform her practise in the Lifesavers programme. When not working, she can be found with her nose in a book and clutching a huge cup of tea.

Paul Street

Paul is a Financial Education Delivery Coordinator and is part of the team responsible for developing Milo’s Money. Paul provides face-to-face support for Lifesavers schools in the Nottinghamshire area while also providing remote support to schools across the country. Before working for Lifesavers, Paul worked in primary education for over thirty years, spending time as a teacher, a local authority mathematics adviser and a headteacher of two primary schools. He is passionate about making a difference to the lives and future prospects of children.

Sarah Barlow

Sarah is the Financial Education Coordinator for Alternative Provisions. Sarah is a mum of two wonderfully unique children. She has worked within the education sector for over ten years and has been involved in several community and charity projects. She has a passion for supporting future generations and has undertaken additional Mental Health and Special Educational Needs and Disability training.

When she is not working, Sarah can often be found walking her dog, Waffle, on the beach.
