The aim of the Just Finance Foundation is to create a fairer financial system focused on serving the whole community, where everyone has access to responsible credit and savings, and other essential financial services.
It will develop and implement the Archbishop of Canterbury's continuing vision of creating a fairer and more just financial system.
What we do
Over 8 million people in the UK are struggling with money and debt. Without access to other finance options, many resort to high cost loans to cover basic necessities such as food and fuel. This is having a devastating effect on physical and mental health, families and entire communities.
In 2016 the Archbishop of Canterbury’s Mustard Seed Appeal was set up to respond to this desperate need and to launch the Just Finance Foundation: to work for a fairer financial system, help people in crisis and create a new generation who can manage money wisely.
Imagine the difference we could make if the network were extended across England!
