Privacy Policy and information that we collect

Just Finance Foundation, a subsidiary of Church Urban Fund (CUF), respects and is committed to protecting the privacy of all who give us their contact details or who visit our website.

JFF/CUF is only collecting your information with your prior knowledge, as part of sign-up for information about, and access to, the Cash Smart: Credit Savvy course. Information is only used for the purposes requested or any other usage that has been agreed by yourself.

How we collect information about you

When you have submitted your information using the CSCS form, we store your name, email and telephone number (if given) securely on our database in order to provide you with the necessary information. This information will be stored within the JFF segment of our database:

-         Just Finance Foundation, creating a fairer financial system and tackling debt

If we contact you by e-mail, in every email we clearly provide you with an easy way to tell us that you do not want to hear from us again via email.

If we do not hear from you we will assume that you are happy to receive information relating to the work of JFF .

What information we collect

When using the CSCS form you will give us your name, email addresses and possibly your telephone number.  You will have given  this information by filling in the CSCS form etc. as described under ‘How we collect information about you’.

We monitor how people use our website so we can improve it. If you visit our site anonymously, we may still record information about

  • the areas of the website you visit
  • the amount of time you spend on the site
  • whether you are new to the site, or have visited it before
  • how you came to our website – for example, through an email link or a search engine
  • the type of computer, browser, network location and internet connection you use.

  • send any updates about the CSCS course that may be of use to you

Your rights

You have the right to request information on the details we hold on you. For a copy, please send a letter requesting the information plus a cheque for £10 to Church Urban Fund, which will cover our administration costs. Included in your letter should be proof of identity such as a copy of your driving licence or passport.
